Yoshimitsu’s Wooden Plaque

The Reliquary Hall in the Main Garden houses a Buddha's tooth relic, which was brought from the Song Dynasty by Minamoto no Sanetomo, a Kamakura shogun. This relic is considered a spiritual object for world peace and was gifted by Emperor Gokōgon to Fumyō Kokushi.
