Statue of Genchiku Koshin

The reviver of Rokuouin, 12th generation. Koshin passed away on August 7, 1703, at the age of 78. He was the fifth son of Tadamoto, the fifth son of Tadatomo, one of Tokugawa Ieyasu's oldest retainers. Kosin revived Rokuouin with the patronage of the Sakai family, the lords of the Dewa Maruoka domain.
